  • Open 6:30am to 6:00pm
  • Chef-cooked meals
  • Nap times matched to home
  • Updates in Xplor and Earlyworks

From drop-off to pick-up

What does a day at Everwood look like?

  1. Welcome at the gate

Everwood opens at 6:30am. Our educators are happy to chat at drop-off.

  2. Breakfast together

You are welcome to stay and have breakfast with your child at our breakfast bar.

  3. Play and projects

Child-led, Reggio Emilia-inspired play and projects, shaped by your child’s latest fascinations, in rooms set up to act as a “third teacher”.

  4. Outdoor discovery

Sandpits, climbing structures, garden beds and shaded play areas, with nature woven into every day.

  5. Fresh meals from our chef

Our chef cooks fresh meals on site every day, and toddlers and preschoolers help grow produce in the veggie beds.

  6. Rest in step with home

Nap times are matched to your child’s routine at home, so rest feels familiar.

  7. Pick-up and the day in your app

Photos and updates arrive in Xplor, and educators share the details at pick-up. We close at 6:00pm.

Growing together

Will Everwood follow our routines at home?

Everwood aligns your child’s care with your home routines and preferences, and keeps doing so as they move up through the rooms.

  • Synchronised nap times, matched to home
  • Tailored learning: share your child’s interests and we weave them into planned activities
  • An open door policy: visit during the day or join your child for breakfast

We are happy to talk through anything that helps us understand and care for your child, so tell us what matters to your family.

Family involvement

How can our family get involved?

Taking part sends your child a powerful message: you are invested in their learning and growth. We offer different ways to be involved and work around your availability wherever we can.

Throughout the year we hold family information evenings, a chance to hear what is happening at Everwood and how your child is progressing.

Ways to get involved as a family

  • Join excursions and educational outings
  • Help with fundraising that benefits the centre and the children
  • Come to special events that celebrate milestones and learning
  • Volunteer your time and skills
  • Share feedback and ideas that help us keep improving
